WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne Patch is a game utility in which you will find some new features as well as some fixes for minor bugs. Amongst the novelties of this patch you can find some new maps for playing in the multiplayer mode, map changes, and fixes that could ruin the game experience.
With this download you can be sure that the software will be ready to perform exactly as the developers intended. WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne has balanced some units in order to not grant too much power to units such as the Orc Blade master. There are also some changes for items, mostly in their duration. Blizzard has modified some cooldown durations (also abbreviated as CD, is the time that players have to wait after using a spell or ability and the possibility of using another one again) to balance the gameplay.
This latest update includes all the improvements that all the previous versions have, and it has also some fixes for the Internet multiplayer mode. Another important addition is that you can select the maximum FPS (frames per second) during the graphic adventure with just a single command in the game’s console.
The latest update for this game patch
As it has been mentioned above, the main changes have been made regarding the balance of the gameplay. For instance, concerning the human race, the Masonry Upgrade health boost has been reduced to 10%, Warden Shadow Strike mana cost has been increased to 75. Even the duration of the Druid of the Talon Faerie has been reduced.
As it has been previously read, some changes in the Orcs have been made. In respect of the items, the XP that the Tome of Experience gives has been reduced in 50 points, while the cost of the Ivory Tower has been increased to 40. I believe War craft is the most popular strategy game nowadays. Gamers got to defend their territory from being conquered by their opponents. This is one of my favorite games and it actually steals most of my time from doing household chores because of its well designed graphics and over all presentation that captures my attention and interest.
With all the versions of War craft being introduced to gamers, I have seen lots of different features. And with this patch for War craft, new features were added which gave more excitement and thrill on the game. I was surprised because I got to see changes in humans and in some items, new maps for playing in the multiplayer mode as well. There is also available widescreen resolution in video options which I enjoy the most. I also noticed some bugs were fixed. Technically speaking, I already don’t get disconnection from servers because of the repairs made. Options of permanently showing health bars are also made available.
Over all, game play is well-balanced. Some cheats are also available. I know this will totally be enjoyed by strategy game fanatics out there.
- It has new cheats for gamers
- Option to permanently see health bars
- Requires installation of War craft 3 Reign of Chaos
Disconnection from Servers Fixed to Provide Simultaneous Gameplay in Multiplayer Mode

Warcraft is one of the most popular real-time strategy games ever released and its one of my favorites. Before I provide you with my review, let’s take a look at its history. Warcraft was released in 1994 with the subtitle, Orcs and Humans. It was succeeded by Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and later, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. It was the expansion pack of Reign of Chaos, subtitled The Frozen Throne (TFT) that gained the most popularity. Blizzard Entertainment, its developer and publisher, released updates for this expansion pack which included patch 1.25a, 1.25b and 1.26a in 2011. Patches for the TFT expansion were released to fix bugs, provide a balanced multiplayer mode, and extend its scripting system. In this particular patch we are discussing, aside from the general fixes, I also noticed a few significant repairs. TFT Patch 1.26a reverted the fix they implemented in 1.25b about a hero’s hex no longer extending the duration of its Metamorphosis mode. Speed boost and prolonged Chemical Rage effects were also removed. On the technical side, disconnections from Battle.net games during gameplay were fixed.
- No longer disconnects from Battle.net
- Provides general, but significant repairs
- Requires Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos to be installed
